#965 new Bug

No electrons in delphes output

Description

I am running MadGraph_amC@NLO version 2.3.3 and I installed Delphes using the command line tools (version 3.3.2. When generating standard ttbar events at LO, using pythia and delphes default cards, I find that I get muons, jets, MET, tracks etc in my output but for some reason no electrons? I also tried running the ATLAS card that ships with this Delphes version and again see no electrons.

I've attached my run cards just in case (but they are just the default ones as I said). Does anyone know why I'm not getting my electrons in my output?

Hi,

it seems that for some reasons MadGraph does still point to some old card version. Can you actually take the cards that are in the delphes/cards directory instead?

Thanks for the quick response. Taking the ATLAS card from the Delphes/card directory solves the problem.

Cheers,

Jay
