Description
Hi,
I am generating a process for some BSM Model in madgraph/pythia/delphes chain. I need the .lhco file for further simulation. I am aware of the fact that MET class is defined as PDG 12 for .lhco file. The model that I am working with has a new particle contributing to MET .
My question is what changes are needed to be done in delphes_card so that this new guy could contribute to MET?

if your undetected particle PDG = pdg, you'll need to add in the Calorimeter section of the card:
add EnergyFraction {pdg} {0.0 0.0}
