Hi,
When I try to use Pythia8 or Sherpa HepMC output files (say just 200 events as an example) with Delphes_V_2.0.2 I see the following strange output

HepMC ASCII file format detected
This can take several minutes
Exiting conversion...

####### Start fast detector simulation ########
Total number of events to run: 140736212076608
[-------------------------] 0.00% processed *

Please note the number of events to run! Obviously Delphes does not proceed after the last line and holds until I force the command to exit.

Can you please help me to understand the problem and solve it?

Hi,

A known (but rare) bug is that if that your input file list file needs a newline at the end. Could you check that ? It usually results in the kind of error you get.
