#656 new How to

Where is the EFlowmuon in the newest version of Delphes 3.1.2(delphes_card_default.dat) ?

Description

Hi,

In my understanding, the EFlowTrack doesn't not include muons, because muons don't lose energy in the calorimeter. In the Delphes3. 0.2, delphes_card_default.dat in MadGraph Template contain eflowTrack, eFlowtower, eflowmuons, they are the default input for the jet reconstruction and the lepton isolation. But in the newest version Delphes 3.1.2, eflowtower is replaced by eflowphoton and eflowneutralhadron. It seems that the muons are not used for the jet reconstruction. Is there something I am missing? If not,

where not include the muons?

Best wishes,
Da Liu

Hi,

Thanks a lot. Another question, what is the unit of the vertex positon for the track in the Delphes output? Is it in micrometer?

Best wishes,
Da Liu
