Description
Hi,
I use snowmass card for Delphes 100TeV simulation. The process I worked on has 4 leptons in final state. However, when I count the lepton number after Delphes simulation, the event with 4 or more leptons is only 10% of all. I was wondering about the reason behind this low efficiency. Would this be what you may expect? Thanks!
Best Regards,
Jing

Hi Jing,
unfortunately I don't know which card you are talking about (the snowmass card were not developed by us), nor the process you are considering :)
Without more details, I am afraid we cannot help you!
However I might try to guess that your process may produce leptons in the very forward region where leptons are not reconstructed, or they produced with a small momentum (and they fail momentum requirements), or they are not isolated…
Cheers,
Michele
