Are you asking about GEM detectors for Atlas or CMS?
Unfortunately, I can't find any documentation describing the GEM detectors used in these experiments.
So, at the moment, I'd say that the current versions of the detector cards don't have any parametrization for the effects (like better rapidity coverage) of the GEM detectors.
