Description

Dear authors,

I am using Delphes3.4.2. I wanted to plot a comparison plot between detector level effects and ha[]dronization effects for met+jet final state.
I had generated p p > DM DM j [QCD] in Madgraph and passed it in pythia and eventually to Delphes. My DM id is 52. I added the line add EnergyFraction {52} {0.0} in both HCAL and ECAL parts of the delphes CMS card.

However, strangely, my leading jet pT distribution in delphes is becoming harder and met distribution is becoming softer. I am not understanding why this is happening. I have clustered jets using anti-kt algorithm with min pt = 20 GeV and R = 0.4.

Can you please help me this regard.

Thank you,
Disha Bhatia
