Dear Delphes experts,
I'm trying to generate a single electron sample using delphes v3.4.1 and pythia8
The below is running command for DelphesPythia8 in Delphes directory.
./DelphesPythia8 cards/CMS_Pahse2/CMS_Phase2_PixelStudies_my200.tcl examples/Pythia8/configParticleGun.cmnd SingleElectron200PU.root
I attached .tcl and .cmnd file that we are using.
In the tcl file, we used the Minbias_100k.pileup as pre-generated minbias file.
You can find it in the path below.
/eos/cms/store/group/upgrade/delphes/PhaseII/MinBias_100k.pileup
I have two questions.
- When I added 200 pile up, TrackPixel and DiskPixel hit is increasing and it seems to be normal. But EcalTower's hit does not increase. How can I solve it?
- How can I improve the EcalTower resolution to single crystal level?
