Description
Dear all,
I self-generated a MinBias file to overlay it with a ~largish production using Delphes-3.4.1.
I follow the steps described here:
https://cp3.irmp.ucl.ac.be/projects/delphes/wiki/WorkBook/PileUp
The smallest MinBias file size I tested was 100k, I have not tested anything below that.
When I run the final overlay, in the resulting files, there are essentially no final state muons (even if the HS events are Z->mumu). To me it looks like there is a hickup in the overlay.
If I use the default input file (1k events), everything looks as expected (muons in each event, but pileup present).
Is there somewhere a maximum MinBias binary file size assumed?
Thanks & best
Kristin
