Dear all,
I had the same problem reported here:
https://cp3.irmp.ucl.ac.be/projects/delphes/ticket/1310
I found that if I followed the suggested instructions:
git clone https://github.com/delphes/delphes.git
I could install Delphes without a problem.
However, the file Delphes.3.4.1.tar.gz, found on your webpage, still shows this error. I guess it has not been updated. This can be problematic, as it seems that MadGraph uses this file to install Delphes.
