Description
Hi,
I am doing some generator level matching where I want to select jets which are coming from b quark. I produced around 50k events where in each event two b quarks are present. These events are hadronized in Pythia8 following the detector simulation in delphes using CMS environment. So I have in total 50k*2 b quarks but after doing matching, I am getting only 64787 jets which are matched with b quark. Similarly, I tried to do the same thing with taus and here the result is even worse, it is only 32941.
Can anyone suggest me something? Any kind of suggestion will be very helpful.
Thanks,
Saswati
I'd suggest to check how the efficiency behaves as a function of quark momentum and rapidity.
It would be helpful if you could provide a small subset of the events from the LHEF file.
