Question on btagging working points

Hello
We noticed, that when using the first three btagging bits (ie corresponding to BTaggingPUPPILoose, BTaggingPUPPIMedium,BTaggingPUPPITight) there are cases that we pass the Loose and the Tight but not the Medium WP. Is this something expected/understood ?

Yes, this is expected as the tag are applied in an uncorrelated fashion. It should not matter as long as large number of jets are considered.
