Description

Dear authors,

sorry for a beginner's question. I'm not able to get an useful information about vertex-track relation. I'm using Delphes-3.4.1, with the input card attached, and I'd like to see which track is associated to which vertex, pile-up mu is 50. I followed Example3.C for how to get to constituents but it only worked for a small fraction of events and the output was an unexpectedly long list of tracks with different DZ, while only constituents to one vertex were demanded. Unfortunately some of key variables are either zero or -1, such as VertexIndex, ErrorDZ for tracks and GenDeltaZ and Sigma for vertices, although I suspect ErrorDZ and Sigma must be zero since no vertex smearing and reconstruction is used. At the moment, VertexIndex for each track would do for me.

Thank you for your help and tips.

Cheers, Marek
