Description
Dear sir,
I am looking at the newest version of Madgraph5.2.5.5 where they integrated automatic running of Pythia8.
One thing I notice is that this new version of madgraph hardly veto the events, instead, they seem to set some weight on each events in the output of Pythia8.
My would like to know if the output of Delphes are unweighted such that after analyze with some ROOT code I can use the number of events remain over the total number of events as some efficiency assuming the weight of each events in the Delphes output is equal to 1?
Thanks,
Haolin

Hi,
if the weight is properly stored in the HepMC output file from Py8 you can find it the Event branch under EventWeight.

Great, thanks, that's solve my problem.
