Hi,
I can install Delphes3.3.3 well. But when I install Delphes 3.4.0, I met a problem,

I'd say that it confirms that the problem is with the compiler.

I am weird if the problem is with the compiler, why can I compile Delphes3.3.3? Is there any update may effect it?

The error message clearly says that it is the compiler error:
modules/TrackSmearing.cc:153:6: internal compiler error: Illegal instruction
This compiler shows similar problem building ROOT:

For me it's enough evidence that the problem is with the compiler.
If I'm not mistaken, here is the only error message:
Since the error message clearly indicates a problem in the compiler, I can only suggest to try a different GCC version.
