Research statement
My research focuses on the theory and phenomenology of quarkonium bound-state production in pQCD. Currently, I am developing my frameworks for exclusive heavy-quarkonium photo- and electro-production to better understand gluon parton distribution functions in protons and nuclei. I am also implementing quarkonium cross sections in the well-known event generator MadGraph5_aMC@NLO with the aim to provide an efficient, all-encompassing tool that anyone can use to simulate quarkonium production at colliders. These activities will ultimately facilitate the first global NRQCD phenomenological analyses comparing theory and experiment, and enable sound physics-case constructions for current (LHC@CERN, Belle-II@KEK, RHIC@BNL,…) and future (EIC@BNL, FCC@CERN, …) experimental programs.
