Generating a CalcHep/CompHEP model file with FeynRules
Instructions for implementing a CalcHep/CompHEP model in FeynRules can be found in the manual which can be found at the FeynRules website.
Limitations
Some limitations of CalcHep/CompHEP are:
- Models with new color octets are generally a challenge to implement in CalcHep/CompHEP. This is due to the fact that the color structure of vertices are left implicit. This is sufficient for the SM as well as many extensions, but not in all. Such a model may be implemented using auxilliary fields. If you are interested in such a model, please consider the following references:
- The CalcHep/CompHEP user manual.
- JHEP 0509:005,2005
- Minimal Universal Extra Dimensions implementation in CalcHep.
- others?
- Any limitation of CalcHep/CompHEP is also a limitation of this interface.
