Description
Dear Delphes authors
When I look at the number of light and b-tagged jets in Delphes coming from the same HepMC sample with two versions of CMS run cards (roughly before and after Changeset 1254) I see some very large differences. For this particular sample, average number o light jets drops from 2 to 1 and I get much smaller number of b-tagged jets. I was able to trace it to the JetEnergyScale module. As far as I can tell, this is the part that generates this shift. Is this behavior expected or am I missing something?
thanks in advance,
Wojciech

Dear Wojciech,
Sorry for the late reply.
In delphes_card_CMS.tcl, MuonIsolation/muons array is added to UniqueObjectFinder. So, all the isolated muons reconstructed as jets are filtered out. That is why there are less jets when running with the delphes_card_CMS.tcl card.
I'd say that delphes_card_CMS.tcl is more correct.
Regards,
Pavel

Dear Wojciech,
could you please attach the two data cards you are referring to and a small hepmc file?
Thanks,
Michele
