FastJet is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License
v2 (GPLv2). FastJet includes a significant body of third-party code,
for example for third party plugin algorithms and for computational
geometry methods. These too are usually released under the GPL or
permissive licenses. Details are given below on a case-by-case basis.

A copy of the GPLv2 is to be found at the end of this file.

While the GPL license grants you considerable freedom, please bear in
mind that FastJet's use falls under guidelines similar to those that
are standard for Monte Carlo event generators
(http://www.montecarlonet.org/GUIDELINES). In particular, if you use
this code as part of work towards a scientific publication, whether
directly or contained within another program (e.g. Delphes, SpartyJet,
Rivet, LHC collaboration software frameworks, etc.), you should
