Qcut and xqcut are the two main parameters related to the matching procedure:

• xqcut defines the minimal distance between partons at the matrix-element level
• Qcut is the matching scale: maximal distance between a parton and a jet to be matched with each other.

Both parameters use $K_{T}$ measure as distance definition.
