CPHYS17 - Recasting CMS SUSY analyses

CMS-SUS-16-033

  • Signature: multijet and missing energy
  • 8 participants: Rashidul Islam, Abhaya Swain, Soumya Sadhukhan, Dibyendu Nanda, Tripurari Srivastava, Rafiqul Rahaman, Abhijit Saha, Nitin Yadav
  • Status (update on 15.04): the code is ready; validation will start (events are ready too).

CMS-SUS-16-035

  • Signature: Same-sign dilepton and missing energy
  • 8 participants: Deepanjali Goswami, Indrani Chakraborty, Samadrita Mukherjee, Lopamudra Mukherjee, Kajal Samanta, Subhasish Behera, Rishav Roshan, Subhaditya Bhattacharya
  • Validation material: Benchmarks, cutflows and plots available here and there.
  • Status (update on 24.04): the validation samples have been generated and studied. A pre-c++ code is available but still need some work before it could be used.

CMS-SUS-16-036

  • Signature: All hadronic / MT2
  • 8 participants: Rashidul Hoque, Pijush Kanti Dhar, Songshaptak De, Priyanka Sarmah, Ayan Mukhopadhyay, Lalit Kumar Saini, Biplob Bhattacherjee, Sayan Dasgupta
  • Validation material: Benchmarks, cutflows and plots available here.
  • Status (update on 25.04): the code is mostly ready but issues concerning the implementation of pseudojets are still in order.

CMS-SUS-16-037

  • Signature: single lepton and a fat jet
  • 7 participants: Ritesh Singh, Balasubramaniam K.M., Akanksha Bhardwaj, Biswajit Karmakar, Sujay Shil, Shibananda Sahoo, Biswarajan Das
  • Validation material: Benchmarks, cutflows and plots available here.
  • Status (update on 20.04): the code is in good shape. Issues with the jet clustering (to be solved soon).

CMS-SUS-16-039

  • Signature: multilepton (3l) and missing energy
  • 7 participants: Partha Konar, Purusottam Ghosh, Sneha Jaiswal, Poulose Poulose, Satendra Kumar, Srimanti Chakraborti, Arunprasath V
  • Status (update on 23.04): the code is being finalized.
