Our group in UCL works on photon physics at the LHC and in particular at
CMS.
 
We use Pythia for hadronization of processes with one or two photons
coming from protons.
In both cases photons are real and comes from Equivalent Photon
Approximation (EPA).
Samples like (gamma gamma -&gt; quark quark~) are generated using an external
generator (Madgraph), so Pythia is only used for hadronization in this
work.
