Post-doctoral positions in collider phenomenology and particle astrophysics
Announced: 20th July 2018
Deadline: 20th August 2018
The Centre for Cosmology, particle physics and phenomenology at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), Belgium, invites applications for two postdoctoral positions in collider phenomenology and particle astrophysics. The appointment is for two years with a possible extension for a third year and should start preferably in October 2018.
Candidates should have a PhD in theoretical particle physics and/or in high energy astrophysics at the time of the appointment and should be in mobility. Candidates with experience in Higgs physics, top physics, physics beyond the Standard Model, production and propagation of high energy cosmic rays are particularly encouraged to apply.
Applications should be submitted preferably before 20 August 2018. Later applications will be considered until the position is filled.
Applicants should provide a curriculum vitae, a list of publications and a brief description of their research interests, as well as arrange for three recommendation letters to be sent separately. Applications should be submitted using the online form only.
