Two post-doctoral positions in Cosmology

Ref.: CP3-Postd-11A

Announced: 12th January 2011
Applications are now closed

Description:

The Centre for Cosmology, Particle Physics and Phenomenology (CP3) at Louvain University (Belgium) invites applications for two postdoctoral openings in Cosmology starting Fall 2011. Applicants interested in early universe models in general, and cosmic inflation and CMB data analysis in particular, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Research activity in the Centre is equally strong on the theoretical, experimental and instrumental fronts. The theory group includes four faculty members, several post-doctoral fellows and Ph.D. students. The group has also strong collaborations with the CMS experiment at CERN and the Planck mission. For more information, please check the CP3 website.

Appointments are for two years and are supported by the Belgian ESA-PRODEX program. Close contacts with ``Imperial College London'' and the ``Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris'' should be expected and will provide an additional stimulating research environment.

Letters of application (including a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a brief statement of research interests) and at least two recommendation letters from senior scientists should be submitted by the 15th of February 2011 using the on-line form.
