The successful candidate will have a PhD in particle physics and experience in the analysis of High Energy Physics experiments. She/he will be engaged in an international team involved both in the design and construction of the NA62 experiment at CERN and in the analysis of radiative and rare kaon decays with the data collected in this experiment.

Research activity in the Center is equally strong in theoretical and experimental physics and collaborations between them are highly encouraged. Besides NA62, the Center is involved in CMS experiment, in the development of Monte Carlo generators (MadGraph/MadEvent) and in the phenomenology of fundamental interactions. A strong computing team, hosting a Tier-2 installation, is also in place. The selected candidate is expected to be based in Belgium with possibility of extended stays at CERN.
