  • CMS/LHC Tier 2 - Ingrid
    Connected to the WLCG Grid
    • about 600 cores with 4 to 16 GB RAM / node
    • Mass storage: 380 TB (disks)

    • Sister cluster at IIHE (ULB-VUB)
  • Cosmo cluster
    • 104 cores: 13x2x4 AMD Opteron 16 GB RAM / node
    • Storage: 9.2 TB (parallel fs gluster) multiplexed over stripped Gbit ethernet across the nodes
    • Access and detailed specifications
  • Madgraph cluster
    • 592 cores: (8x2x2 - 2.6 GHz 4GB RAM / node) + (6x2x4 - 2.5 GHz 16GB RAM / node) + (32x2x8 - 2.3 GHz 32GB RAM / node)
    • Online interface
    • Sister clusters at UIUC (USA) and Roma2 Tor Vergata
  • NA62 cluster
    • 100 cores
    • Mass storage: 200 TB.

CP3 members have also access to the UCLouvain's clusters managed by the CISM.
  • HMEM cluster
    • 3.7TB of RAM distributed across 12 nodes of 48 cores each (including 2 machines with 512GB RAM)
    • Interconnected through Infiniband
  • Green cluster
    • 952 cores: 119x2x4 Xeon 2.5 GHz 16 and 32 GB RAM / node
    • Mass storage: 11 TB
  • Lemaître cluster
    • 128x2x1 AMD Opteron 2.56GHz 4GB RAM /node, Infiniband interconnection
    • 12x2x4 Xeon Nehalem 2.27 GHz 24 GB RAM / node, Infiniband interconnection
    • several 32, 64 and 128 GB RAM machines
  • BeGrid
    • Currently, more than 1000 cores distributed over several belgian universities

UCLouvain members have access to
  • the clusters funded by the CECI across the universities of the Communauté française de Belgique
CMS collaborators have access to the
  • WLCG grid distributed across more than 140 computer centres. For CMS:
    • 25 000 cores
    • 25 000TB of disk storage and 35 000 TB of tape storage
